What are Location, Process Group, Process, and Subprocess?

Every level is a placeholder for recreating your shopfloor's processes organizational layout. The levels are named that way to give you an idea of how to set up the layout, but you can use to represent any part of your workflow.

10.

Why can I not add more than 5 Process levels and 10 Connectivity Devices per Subprocess?

There is a limit of 5 Process Groups, Processes, and Subprocesses per Location and a maximum of 10 Connectivity Devices per subsection. This is done to encourage more granular organization of the work processes and ensure an optimal performance of the platform. If this limitation creates issues which cannot be solved by distributing the number of processes either one level up or down, please contact ProGlove for additional support.

11.

What do I do if I have fewer then four layers?

If you have fewer then 4 levels, the most practical approach is to fill the levels from the bottom up. To learn how, see ???.

12.

What if I have more than 5 Locations or Processes?

If you have more then the maximum number of items allowed per level, add an additional level above to split the number of items per level. For example, if you have more than 10 locations, you can add a level above and divide the locations into regional groups.
