Scanner Settings
The Scanner Settings allow you to configure the following functions:
Engine Settings - you can enable the following modes:
Fuzzy 1D processing - Optimizes decoding performance on 1D barcodes, including damaged and poor quality symbols (enabled by default).
Display Mode - Improves barcode reading performance off mobile phones and electronic displays.
Picklist Mode - Enables picking out and decoding a barcode from a group of barcodes that are printed close together by placing the aiming pattern on the specified barcode.
Feedback Profiles - select the scanner's audio feedback: Normal (default), Long, or Silent.
Scanner's Haptic Feedback is enabled by default but you can disable it at any time.
Double click - disable the scanner's double click function entirely, and have your scanners perform using only single scan triggers. This setting is enabled by default, and you can disable it within your configuration by checking off the box, as needed.
Send AIM code - AIM codes are 3-character identifiers generated by the scanner's decoder and are not part of the originally scanned content. They provide information about the symbology of the scanned codes. Check the box to automatically add AIM codes as a prefix to your scanned codes.
Show barcode content on display - disable or enable the barcode echo feature for MARK Display which displays the scanned barcode for the set amount of time
Scanned barcode duration - The default value is 5 seconds but you can select for how long the barcode content displays on the screen.
Sleep Mode - Select the amount of idle time before your device goes into sleep mode. Default is set to 15 minutes.
Scanner Illumination - you can adjust the brightness of the scanner's LED camera flash (percentage) in order to optimize battery consumption in areas of good lighting
Important
Scanner Illumination is developed for specific use cases and can significantly alter the scanner performance and range. We advise you to test the feature extensively before implementing it in your work processes.
TX Power Attenuation - adjust the signal strength of your scanners (expressed in dBm) in order to reduce the scanner's battery power consumption. The default and maximum value of TX power is 0 dBm.
