What’s new?

This section presents the latest features introduced or enhanced on Insight Webportal.

Process Analytics Suite introduced

A new paid subscription Process Analytics Suite has now been introduced, in addition to the free Enablement suite, to provide users with greater insight into their day-to-day process and devices statistics.

To learn more about the new Insight Webportal analytics features, users can start a 60-day Free Trial.

Main menu top bar navigation introduced

The Insight Webportal v2.0 has now been restyled and features the top bar main menu navigation to provide easier access to your connected devices and process analytics.

Device Visibility
Overview

The Overview page has now been moved from the Understand section into Device Visibility and features the general information and statistics about your scanning device fleet. To learn more, see Overview.

Devices

The Scanners and Connectivity pages have now been moved from the Manage section into a single Devices page, under Device Visibility, which now displays the full list of all your scanning and Connectivity Devices. Use the new Devices section to track your device fleet, connect and provision devices, and define hierarchies.

Configurations

The Configurations page has now been moved from from the Manage section to Device Visibility.

Process Analytics
Job Analysis

The Jobs page has now been renamed Job Analysis and moved from the Understand section into Process Analytics. The Job Analysis is now part of the new paid subscription license.

Performance Analysis

A new Performance Analysis page has now been introduced under Process Analytics to allow the user to gain insight into their process and devices statistics. The Process Analytics section is now part of the new paid subscription license.

Resources

The Resources section has now been introduced to the top navigation bar to allow you to quickly access the Downloads section, allowing you to download the latest versions of ProGlove products, and the Developers Page link so you can explore our documentation more easily.

Early Access

The Early Access section has now been moved to the top navigation bar, under Resources. Use it to apply for testing the features still in Beta stages.

Free Trial

A 60-day Free Trial has now been enabled to allow the users of the Enablement Suite to test the features of the Process Analytics Suite.

Users

The Users section has been moved to the top navigation bar. It is now accessed through the Profile drop-down, which is also used to deal with your Profile and User settings.

Process Layout hierarchy introduced

A new Process Layout hierarchy has now been introduced to allow you to rebuild your shopfloor digitally. You can now use the Connectivity Devices management to map out your device fleet granularly, depending on Location, Process Group, Process, and Subprocess.

For the customers with an existing infrastructure on Insight Webportal, the Connectivity Device’s Station Name has now been mapped as a Process and the Use Case as a Subprocess in the new Process Layout hierarchy.

Connecting multiple devices using a .csv file disabled

Connecting multiple devices using a .csv file has been temporarily disabled due to the newly introduced Process Layout hierarchy. The .csv file import will be enabled in the following releases.

Process Layout hierarchy enhanced

You can now move, delete, and rename the devices already added to a certain Subprocess to a different one by selecting the Move, Delete, or Rename options from the three dots drop-down menu in the Process Layout.

Selecting the Move option now opens a modal window where you can define all four Process Layout hierarchy levels for the selected device.

Selecting the Delete option now displays a modal window warning you that the item will be deleted permanently.

You can now rename all Process Layout hierarchy levels by selecting the Rename option from the three dots drop-down menu for the desired hierarchy level.

Scanning of supplemental and regular barcodes enabled

You can now select the Autodiscriminate option under the Supplemental Decode setting for the UPC/EAN barcode symbology to enable your scanners to scan both the supplemental and regular barcodes. You no longer have to select what type of barcodes to focus on in you configuration.
